Bright yellow with flecks of green hit the eye in this super focused, linear and nicely ripe Riesling from the exceptional 2013 vintage in the Wachau. Florals, citrus and hints of stone fruit are topped off by bright acidity and mineral additions. There is good density to this Riesling in light of its Smaragd level and it should be drinking well over the next five to seven years. A perfect accompaniment to Asian cuisine and classic Austrian and German fare. This wine is a steal!
