Variety(ies): Pinot Noir
The peak of the Guillot-Broux red wine hierarchy. 100% Pinot Noir from the La Myotte vineyard. A small, half-hectare plus of old vine Pinot Noir planted by Manu’s grandfather in 1956 from cuttings from the Cote de Beaune. A mercurial vineyard that has very low natural yields. La Myotte is mostly a marl, clay and limestone concoction. In 2015 La Myotte spent 11 months in oak, 10% new and about 50% whole cluster was used.
