From the south facing hill of Campazzi comes a 100% Barbera of structure, elegance and perfume. I tasted a lot of Barbera in the Northern Piedmont and this one was at the head of the class. Only 3000 bottles produced. This wine spent six months in old 500L oak barrels and 6 months in bottle. Dark, savory fruits, juniper, and earthy notes of forest floor and fern make this a beguiling Barbera to behold. Classic Barbera acidity at a comfortable, balanced level of ripeness and alcohol. Sweet tannins. Ready to enjoy over the next four to six.
