100% Trousseau blended from the following three vineyards in the Côtes du Jura AOC: En Champaux (largely calcerous thick gravel or “gravies gras”), Plaignot (similar soil to Champaux but a cooler vineyard given its exposition) and Pireneige-Lyas (a warmer site made up of clay and grey marl). On average the vines range in age from 10-50 years old. Sweet red fruits, anise and a savory, herbal note on the nose. On the palate the the wine is bright and has a richness from the slightly warmer year. The acidity lifts the feeling in the mouth and finishes with fine tannins. A great Trousseau! Less than 3000 bottles from this wonderful year.Click here to learn more about Domaine Courbet!
