100% Syrah mostly from 80 year-old vineyards near St. Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage. This is an easier going style relative to Julien and Nancy's other Syrahs, but it’s very expressive and pure and benefits from just almost a year aging in old oak barrels. Bright cherry, soft tannin, and good mineral notes from the granite and clay soils. It's ready to hit the table.
