Variety(ies): MalvasiaIn the nose there is pit fruit, white flower and a hint of citrus zest. In the mouth, healthy acidity balances the ripe orchard and citrus fruits from start to finish. There is also a very cool spice note that develops as the wine get some air. Bright and persistent come to mind as I spend time with this wine. The fruit comes from 50-year-old vines located in Faet and Pradis in Cormons. The soils are a mixture of marl, sandstone and clay. A small portion, around 20%, is aged in old 500ml barrel and the rest spends time in concrete vat. Drink this over the next 4-6 years
